YourTurn Competitions – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is: YourTurn Competitions Ltd (“YourTurn”, “we”, “us”, “our”) Registered in the United Kingdom. Registered address: 31 Fitzmaurice Close, BOA, BA15 1UE.

2. Nature of the Competition

This is a prize competition. It is not a lottery or a raffle. Entry requires participation in a skill-based question or challenge. All incorrect entries will be removed prior to winner selection. The winner will be selected only from valid and correct entries (or closest correct answer, where applicable).

3. Eligibility

To enter, participants must:

• Be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

• Be a UK resident (unless otherwise stated).

• Not be an employee, representative, or direct family member of YourTurn Competitions Ltd.

We reserve the right to request ID and proof of age before awarding a prize.

4. How to Enter

Entrants may enter by either method:

a) Paid Entry

Participants may enter via our website by purchasing entry(s) and submitting an answer to the skill-based competition question.

b) Free Postal Entry

To apply for free entry, send the following on an unenclosed postcard:

• Full name

• Address

• Email and phone number

• Full answer to the skill question

• Name of the competition being entered

Post to: YourTurn Competitions – Free Entry 31 Fitzmaurice Close, BOA, BA15 1UE. Only one entry per postcard is permitted. Postal entries must be received before the competition closing date. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.

Both paid and free entries are treated equally. The same closing date applies to all entry routes.

5. Competition Question

Each competition includes a question requiring skill, knowledge, judgement or analysis. Entries must include a valid answer. Incorrect or incomplete answers will be disqualified. Where multiple correct entries exist, winners will be chosen at random from qualifying entries.

6. Closing Date

The competition closes at time and date referenced on the ticket. No entries will be accepted beyond this time. YourTurn is not responsible for delayed, lost or undelivered entries (including postal entries).

7. Winner Selection & Notification

• All invalid or incorrect entries will be removed.

• The winner will be selected from the remaining valid entries.

• The draw will take place within 2 days of the closing date.

• Winners will be notified by email and/or phone.

• If a winner does not respond within 30 days, the prize may be forfeited and reallocated.

8. Prize Details

The prize for each competition will be clearly stated on the competition page. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered, except at YourTurn’s sole discretion. Any images used are for illustrative purposes only.

Unless explicitly stated, travel, equipment, insurance, additional guests, and all personal expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

9. Prize Usage & Rules

Participation is subject to the rules of the venue or event organisers. This includes but is not limited to:

• Handicap requirements

• Dress code

• Behaviour and conduct

• Identification or proof of eligibility

Failure to comply with venue rules may result in withdrawal of access with no refund or substitute provided.

Prizes must be booked and redeemed within 12 months of the draw date, unless otherwise stated.

10. Transfer & Guest Policy

• A prize may be gifted to one alternative recipient prior to booking confirmation.

• Once booked, no change of primary recipient is allowed.

• Guest substitutions may be permitted if like-for-like.

• The prize may not be resold, traded, or commercially advertised.

• Failure to comply may result in withdrawal of the prize with no refund.

11. Liability

YourTurn Competitions Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Venue postponements, cancellations, or weather disruption

• Costs beyond what is explicitly included in the prize description

• Failure of participants to meet venue or travel requirements

• Lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Data Protection

All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our privacy policy. By entering, you consent to the use of your data for the administration of the competition only.

13. Publicity

Winners may be asked to provide a first name, county, and photograph for marketing purposes. You may decline participation in promotional features by notifying us in writing.

14. Cancellation & Amendments

YourTurn reserves the right to:

• Amend or cancel a competition where necessary

• Disqualify any entry found to be fraudulent or misleading

• Withhold a prize if the winner breaches these terms

All decisions relating to competition results are final and binding.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
